Weekend Prep

Do I start another Quilt Along? I haven't looked through my stash yet, but I'm thinking if I can pull everything from stash, I'll do it. For my weekend getaway, I'll pack the Jan and Feb blocks for A Tisket, A Tasket; the newest block for Geese in the Forest; and step 3 of Bears in the Farmhouse. Maybe I'll bring a top to quilt, in case I feel like machine quilting. And I'll be teaching all day Saturday and a little on Friday night, so I won't have much time to work on my own projects anyway.Last night, a Girl Scout/quilty friend asked if I get nervous before I teach a class. I really don't. I'm pretty excited about this one. I'm well prepared, I know what I'm doing, I know what mistakes will be made (because I've made them!) and I know how to fix them. I made a couple of new design boards yesterday (flannel covered foam boards) to display the step-outs. I'm still toying with the idea of making one more sample. I have one completed piece, one top and one in pieces on the design board. Would you want to see more? The students will have already selected their fabric.

I've been wondering how many people are reading my blog. Is there a gadget or some other function in Blogger to tell you? I can't seem to find it. So I think that means it's time for a giveaway! Come back on Friday for the details. I'll post before I leave and see what happens while I'm away.

Ciao,
Tina

Hi, Tina. do a search for "Google Analytics" - it's an intense program that gives you lots of information about visitors to your blog. It's for you though - you don't put anything on the blog that visitors can see. If you just want a counter to SHOW on your blog then Sitemeter has them, amongst others.

thanks for visiting my blog!

Hi Tina,
I use site meter...it's on the right side bar of my blog towards the bottom. Email if you have any questions. I love it, because they send you weekly reports.
Good luck this weekend,
~Karen~

I have two gadgets, one is Neocounter and the other is just a counter. You can go onto my blog and all you need to do is click on those gadgets at the bottom of my sidebar and it will take you right to their sites and walks you through the steps to set it up on your blog.
