My Birthday Giveaway

It's my birthday, so let's party!  How nice of Sew Mama Sew to host a giveaway party on my birthday!

To celebrate, I have some handmade-by-me gifts for one lucky reader.

A Christmas print keychain lanyard,
a cute patchwork pincushion,
a crocheted felted wool flower pin,
and a paper-pieced Christmas tree pin.

Even though our silly Rhode Island governor is calling this a "holiday" tree, it is most definitely a Christmas tree!

The felted flowers look so cute on a wool coat or hat.

To enter, leave me a comment telling us one thing on your Christmas or Birthday Wish List.

All the giveaways close on Friday, so I'll pick a winner soon thereafter.  Make sure I can reach you if you win, or I'll have to pick someone else, and that would be sad for you.

Be sure to click on over to Sew Mama Sew and enter lots of giveaways!  They are conveniently sorted by category. Totally awesome!

What a lovely giveaway. I only have one thing on my wishlist and that's a small digital scale.

Lovely giveaway - pincushions are my weakness - love them. My wishlist consists of fabric and yarn - am not fussy!

Happy day!! Top of my list is some ECHO, and always - a new cookbook.

Oh, well...Christmas list is always fabric, mostly. Or other stitching things. I am pretty single-minded that way.

Happy Birthday!! Hope it has been wonderful. On my Christmas wish list is a pair of red leather gloves - oh and a long arm quilting machine, but I may have to keep wishing just a wee bit longer for that one. :)

What a nice giveaway! And happiest birthday wishes to you! I hope you had a wonderful day.

I always have a hard time deciding on what I want for birthdays/Christmas because I'm naughty and guilty of buying myself mostly what I want. I'm hoping that this Christmas will be the year my grandma gives me the antique vase that belonged to her grandma.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Mine is in early-January, and I know my mum's getting me a certificate to have my machine serviced. After all my Christmas sewing, it really needs some serious TLC :)

*ps: thank you for having the Name/URL option on your Blogger blog! Not many do, and if don't have a Blogger account (gmail doesn't count for Google Account for some reason) or an OpenID, then commenting on blogs you love can be so frustrating!*

Happy Birthday, Tina! We missed you at the Mod Conn Quilters meeting (I did 2 posts on it). Your giveaway creations are just lovely-- all of them! Thanks for this opportunity :0) My "wish" list would have to be quilty-related-- either a gift cert for an Amazon book (new book out from Stash publishers on Zakka style that I have my eye on) or of course gift cert to buy fabric.

I agree with you. The governor IS a bit silly! It IS a Christmas tree!
I am from R.I. but now live in Florida. I do fly in several times a year, though. I am from
Hope Valley!
On my list, that is very short, is a set of Fast Frames for embroidering. I know that I won't get them. My husband just won't. I will still be hoping for that Christmas Miracle!
Merry, merry to you!

A holiday tree - pfff.

The one thing on my wishlist (and I'll have it on there for Xmas, birthdays, secret surprise days, whatever it takes) is a Vagabond cutting machine. Is that too much to ask?

What a great pouch - thank you for the chance to win it :)

Love all the things in your giveaway. Thanks for the chance to win. I have on my Santa list, a new pair of applique scissors. Happy Birthday and Merry CHristmas.

Jingle said...

LOL! I think it's funny that you mention the governer's reference to the tree...I guess here in Mass, Gov. Partrick made a point of saying that ours is a Christmas Tree! I think it's all just silly...it doesn't really matter WHAT we call it, as long as everyone celebrates what is important to them! Your giveaway is fabulous! On my list is just some fun craft supplies! I love 'em! jinglesells at gmail dot com

Holiday tree? That's just daft! I have quite a few audio books and CDs on my wish list - to go with the new ipod I think Father Christmas is bringing!! Thank you for the giveaway and happy birthday, have a fabulous day, I hope you're treating yourself as well as one lucky reader?!

These are so cute! My biggest item on my wish list is a Nook Color! I love to read and can't wait to have an E-reader!

Linda said...

How about a lifetime supply of medium gray Aurifil thread?

Anonymous said...

What? a holiday tree...honestly, people really annoy me. Why celebrate at all...if you can't just accept that it's Christmas. Sorry, just in shock!

Okay, now, I would say that I LOVE your giveaway...so cute! and I don't really want anything for Christmas. I'm hoping to get some money to save and have a quilt quilted at a long arm shop. =) That would be a great gift for me. If I happened upon some extra cash, I'd buy an extension table for my sewing machine...but it's not a need...so I might wait until my bday. =)

Thanks for a chance to win!

My Christmas and birthday is pretty much the same, so I so want a wind-trainer. You hook your bike up to them to ride it inside. Or for fun, this jersey that looks like a spine on the back.
By the way, so impressed with the paper pieced tree.
