I have this problem with mail. I can hear the truck coming from a block away, like
Radar O'Reilly on M*A*S*H. Some days, the truck is just pulling away and I'm already out the door to snatch it out of the box. Bill and Julia don't share this need to pick up the mail as soon as it hits the box, but Pete will grab it if I'm not fast enough. I came home late on Saturday afternoon and no one had gotten the mail yet! (Pete was at Boy Scout camp.) How can they let it just sit there all day?!
Anyway... Monday was the best mail day ever! My mother had stopped by for some crafting help, so I picked up the mail as I walked her to her car. I ripped open three squishy envelopes right there on the sidewalk!

The third squishy held one of the last blocks from the
teeny weeny paper piecing bee. I love these little (6") blocks, and I'm so sad that the bee is ending. I'm waiting for one last block for a total of 12. Perfect for a little quilt.
